DMarket Overtakes CryptoPunks in NFT Sales, Ethereum Leads Blockchain Transactions
DMarket surged to the top of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market on Thursday, achieving daily sales of US$643,600, according to data from CryptoSlam. This achievement knocked CryptoPunks from the leading position. With this boost, DMarket’s all-time sales volume climbed to a new high of US$492 million, bringing it just US$8 million shy of becoming the 14th collection to surpass the half-billion dollar mark.
Solana DeGods secured the second spot with daily sales of US$586,670 across 115 transactions, a significant rise from US$186,567 the previous day. Following closely, the Bored Ape Yacht Club on Ethereum claimed the third spot with daily sales of US$550,430.
The fourth position was taken by the Black Myth Wukong NFT collection, inspired by the popular game, which saw a daily sales volume of US$533,257 from just 87 transactions. Immutable’s Guild of Guardians Heroes rounded out the top five with sales totaling US$501,415.
Ethereum remained the leading blockchain for NFT transactions, with daily sales hitting US$5.02 million, though this was a slight drop from the previous day’s US$6.15 million. Solana’s blockchain ranked second, recording daily sales of US$2.76 million, a notable increase from the previous day’s US$2.03 million.
